Well it has been forever since I have been on this. And with some free time and training camps starting it is as good of a time as any. We will start off with my Chicago Bears. The Bears had a great offseason. With the firing of the Bag O Douche Mike Martz as the offensive coordinator, adding Cutlers favorite weapon when he was with the Broncos Brandon Marshall, and picking up Michael Bush and Jason Campbell as legit backups the offense is ready to go. Johny Knox is still recovering from that gruesome back injury, but should play this season at some point. The Bears draft was ok at best. Most analyst's gave them a C to B- grade. First rd draft pic Shea McClellin the DE from Boise State is a Chicago type player but maybe a stretch. Second rd pick Alshon Jefferey the WR from South Carolina should help Cutler and Bears vertical passing attack. With camp around the corner we will have to wait and see.

I guess I have to start off with the Steelers getting Teboed. In the most shocking game of the week, the Broncos passed all over the Steelers. Tim (the savior) Tebow had his best passing performance of his career. He still didn't complete 50 percent of his passes. The Steelers did have a ton of injuries and stacked the line to stop the run. Not taking anything away from the Broncos, they executed a good gameplan.
The Texans beat up on the Bengals 31-10 in their first ever playoff win. Behind backup rookie quarterback T.J. Yates and the explosive running of Arian Foster the Texans offense had their way with the Bengals. Cincinnati is a young team with a lot of upside for the next few years.
In the game of the weekend the Saints beat the Lions 45-28. Drew Brees indoors is just amazing to watch. They had their way with Detroits defense. The Lions hadn't been to the playoffs since 1999. It was good just to see them make it. God knows Detroit needs something to be excited about. Another young up and coming team. My prediction next year the Lions have the 2nd or 3rd best offense in the league.
In one of the worst offensive performances I have seen the Falcons lost to the Giants 24-2! Yes that is right they failed to score any offensive points. The Falcons have way to much talent to not come away with at least a field goal. The Giants are getting hot at the right time again. I don't know if in the end they have enough fire power to keep up with GreenBay or New Orleans, but I guarantee no one wants to play them right now.

The fantasy football season has come to a close. I made the playoffs in all 3 of my leagues. Winning one and taking third in another. Overall a good year and turned a nice profit. If it wasn't for McFadden being a mangina with a sprained foot for half the season and Fred Jackson breaking his leg, I would have won two of the three leagues. Sleeper picks this year would have to be Cam Newton and Ryan FitsPatrick at quarterback. Marshawn Lynch, Reggie Bush and Freddy Jackson at runningback. Jordy Nelson, Victor Cruz, and AJ Green at widereciever. Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski at tight end. David Akers at Kicker. And Bengals Defense. With no real off season or training camp this year was full of injuries. Big names went down early and ruined many fantasy seasons. Andre Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Peyton Manning just to name a few. The lesson I learned from all this is draft players with good track records of being healthy and draft depth or the backup to your key running back. I went with a formula I will be sticking to from here on out. Get 3 solid running backs and a top tier QB early. I stole Brees in the 3rd round. It paid off in spades. I lucked out with the Gronkowski pick. I knew he was good and in a pass happy offense, but he scored more points than almost every wide out in the league. Wide receivers are becoming harder and harder to rely on. Of the top 10 scoring receivers this year only 3 would have been high draft pics. Nelson and Cruz you could have picked up in any leagues free agent pool. For 2012 I will be ramping up my fantasy football blog. In depth reports and strategies.

Losing Jay Cutler was bad. Losing Matt Forte even worse. The Bears lost this weekend to Touchdown Jesus Tim Tebow. Many are saying Tebow won another close game. Far from the truth. Marion Barber lost that game for Chicago. Not once but twice. With 2 minutes left, Barber takes the hand off sweeping toward the left sideline. All he has to do is fall down in bounds and run time off the clock. Instead this moron runs out of bounds stopping the clock. Bears end up punting leaving 56 seconds on the clock. Prater kicks a 59 yard field goal to go into overtime. In overtime with the Bears moving down the field, Barber fumbles the ball well within field goal range. Denver completes a few passes, another long Prater field goal, game over. I guess Tebow now causes fumbles and kicks 60 yard field goals. On a better note the playoff picture is really shaping up. Dallas choked again in a close game against the Giants. New Orleans and Green Bay continue to be the cream of the crop in the NFC. The Ravens and Patriots both won in close games. The AFC West is a joke and looks like the Raiders and Chargers want to hand the Broncos the division. Baltimore GreenBay superbowl?

Well for Chicago the chance to make the playoffs went down the toilet with Jay Cutler breaking his thumb. With 3 picks in the game Caleb Hanie didn't look like he was ready to take the Bears to the playoffs. The Raiders made enough big plays to win the game to win. The Raiders now have to keep one eye in the rearview, as touchdown Jesus, Tim Tebow continues to win. As bad of a quarterback as he is, the team rallies around him. The Broncos win ugly but are winning and are in the playoff hunt. Green Bay, New Enlgand, and New Orleans continue to impress. Its them and everyone else. Detroit and the 49rs are both coming of losses on Thanksgiving. Detroit will also be losing Ndamukong Sue after his now famous stomp. See douche of the week for the video. The NFC East continues to be one of the worst divisions in football. So much for the Eagles dream team.

The NFL is finally stabilizing and teams are showing who they really are. The Jets, Ravens, and Bills are average teams. The Packers, Patriots, Saints and 49rs are the cream of the crop. The Bears now have back to back wins over the Eagles and the Lions. The Oline as of now is doing much better and the defense and special teams are doing what they always do under Lovie Smith. In the upset game of the week. The Seahawks beat the Ravens. Lynch ran for over 100 yards again and Tavaris Jackson didn't hurt the team and managed the game. The hapless Eagles lost to the Cardinals. News flash people Mike Vick suuuuuuuuucks. Get over him. Run first QB's will never win a SuperBowl. Last night on the NFL network Tebow mania struck again as he led the Broncos 95 yards with 5 minutes left for what ended up being the game winning touchdown. The Jets looked terrible on both sides of the ball. Football jesus is now 4-1. Don't ask me how, he is one of the 3 worst NFL quarterbacks I have ever seen.

Well I missed a week. Busy with stuff and stuff. The NFL is starting to separate the contenders and the pretenders. Chicago is back on track and after the bye week have the Eagles week 9. Philly is coming in after an old fashion ass whooping of the Cowboys. Dallas showed once again they are all hype. The Tebow experiment has gone really bad in Denver. Just remember Bronco fan you wanted it, you got it. Worst QB I have ever seen. New England showed they are beatable. Pittsburgh is back, with a high power offense. The D may be getting old but shut down the Patriots last weekend. San Diego is underachieving as always as they lost on Monday night in overtime to a K.C. a team that everyone thought was dead. Now they are atop the AFC west. For my Suckhawks buddies out there, your team is unwatchable. I am pretty sure LSU could shut down that offense.  The Rams had the win of the week! They beat the Saints who obviously blew their load scoring 60 points against the Colts the week before.

Finally Mike Martz woke the F up! The Bears absolutely hammered the Vikings. With max protection Cutler actually had time to throw and the Bears offense looked good. Don't get me wrong it was the Vikings who are garbage. Hopefully we can keep Jay of his back the rest of the year. The Cowboys choked again as Tom Brady and the Patriots marched down the field in the last two minutes to win the game. The silver and black won one for Al Davis. RIP Al, you sucked the last 10 years as an owner but back in the day you could scout talent like no other. The Raiders traded 2 number one picks for Carson Palmer after Jason Campbell broke his collarbone. Buffalo and G.B. still look good. And if you havn't seen the coach scrap between the Lions and Niners check it out below!

Well we will start with my Chicago Bears. They look absolutely terrible. We may have the worst offensive line in the history of the NFL. Jay Cutler was on his back more than Paris Hilton. The Lions offense also made the Bears defense look slow and old. This is going to be a long year. Green Bay looked great again! Can't wait for the Lions Packers Thanksgiving game! Jets lost their 3rd straight. That talented D needs to get it together along with their pedestrian offense. And for my Seahawks buddies, yes they pulled one out. Keep in mind if you turned the ball over twice inside the 10 against good teams they would make you pay! And last but not least the Eagles. Well I guess they are in last and least in their division. The Dream team is what Vince Young called them. Hmmm. At 1-4 nothing dreamy about them. And to all of you jock riding Mike Vick. Get over yourselves. The dude suuuuuuuucks. I don't care how fast he is. Way to many turnovers and doesn't complete passes. Once again my point proven that run first quarterbacks won't take you to the promise land in the NFL.

2-1 again this week. In my big boy league my horses didn't get it done. Rice, McFadden and F Jackson all had sub par games. Gronkowski finally showed he isn't super human. On a good note Bowe finally had a good outing. Arian Foster, Steven Jackson and Beanie Wells all were back from nagging injuries this week. Gold star for me starting Wells who killed it with 3 tds! Vick and Rogers take MVP honors this week with monster games. Watch out for Hasselbeck and Nate Washington. Both are available in most leagues. Or they are not being played. Also the rb tandem for the Pats had a good week keep an eye
